Мастер-класс по вязанию кроп-топа крючком ★ Crochet crop top ★ eng sub

hey there! ~and something went wrong with my tongue, lol~ today i will show you how to crochet this crop top it was a very popular item in this season such model is available in almost every fashion designers’ collection can be found for sale in many places prices vary from 30 to 100$ we will crochet a budget-friendly crop top we will need only one skein of cotton yarn (in this case alize bella yarn) which costs less than 2$ and that’s perfect! so the main pattern that covers the bust will be crocheted with double crochet (DC) stitches and in between there’s gonna be such lace netting it’s formed with chains (CH), single crochet stitches (SC) and some DC all this is gonna hold on these wonderful cords look at these beauties i made those for the first time they look like knitted, but they are crocheted as i said we will crochet with alize bella. we will need only one skein i am using color 76 beige it’s 50 grams/180 meters 1-3 mm is recommended by the manufacturer for working with this yarn we will use the biggest recommended size – 3 mm and let’s get started! before we start crocheting we’ll have to get some measurements the first this to measure is under bust circumference if you’re making the top for ypourself, this measurement will not be a problem but if you’re making it for somebody else you will have to ask this person to measure under bust circumference in cm the second thing that we should discuss is the length of the top below what i mean by the length the length from one corner to the other, as i point on the video please have a look at my notes this upper part of calculations are done by my measurements my under bust circumference (ОПГ) 70 cm and the length is 50 cm these 50 cm is 70% from under bust circumference, so you can use this data i made a swatch in 10 cm – 21.4 DC, in 1 cm – 2.14 DC so how do i know how many stitches should be made to reach 50 cm? i just multiplied 2.14 by 50, which equals 107 DC and here the only thing you need to bear in mind the final value of DCs shall be odd otherwise you will not be able to start working with the netting we will now start crocheting a different size for under bust circumference 75 cm subsequently 70% from under bust circumference is 52.5 cm same calculations are done – multiply 2.14 by 52.5 cm, which equals 111 DC the result is an odd value, everything is OK so we will crochet 111 DC one more important detail that we need to discuss is your bust size before you start crocheting the net under the bust we need to crochet several rows in DCs and the amount of these rows depends on the bust size for my size 2 i made 3 rows of DCs for size 1 you’ll have to make 2 rows for size 3 you’ll have to make 5 rows to sum up: size 1 – 2 rows
size 2 – 3 rows
size 3 – 5 rows i’m not gonna provide further calculations, as IMHO such top is not gonna fit bigger sizes as it’s not gonna contain the bust inside the top, and it won’t look pretty so let’s start crocheting following our calculations we need to chain 111 + 2 chains 113 chains in total so we chained 113 i forgot to mention that we are crocheting a top for size 3 bust it means that we need to make 5 rows of DCs before starting the net the first row is crocheted in DC without increases or decreases as we made 2 extra chains, we yarn over (YO) and insert the hook into the 3rd chain from the hook and go on with DCs till the end of the row 1st row is done we now have a long ribbon of DCs at the end of each row we CH 2 and turn the work in the 2nd and all the next rows we’ll decrease on the sides one decrease from each side we’ll decrease as follows YO, insert the hook into the stitch, pull up a loop, as if we are doing a DC there are 3 loops on the hook YO, pull through 2 loops and stop there YO, insert the hook into the next stitch, pull up a loop we have 4 loops on the hook YO, pull through 2 loops, and we now have 2 unfinished stitches, not counting CH 2 and now we will YO, and pull through all the remaining loops we now have our 1st decrease continue with DCs till the end of the row, stop when there are only 2 stitches are left we have reached the end of the row, and there are 2 stitches left we will decrease here decrease is similar to the one we made in the beginning of the row this is our decrease in the end of the row so 3rd, 4th and 5th rows are crocheted the same as the 2nd one decrease in the beginning and the end of the row don’t forget to CH 2 in the end of each row after we have finished several rows of DCs and we will now start working with the ne we’ll start with one arch the arch is composed of 3 CH and one skipped DC that is why at the beginning of the work i told you that the amount of DCs shall be odd also because the stitches will be equally divided into 2 sides, and there’s gonna be one left for us to skip here magic ^_^ so now we will have to count how many stitches i have after finishing row 5 in my case and you’ll have to count stitches for any other size you’re making i have already counted my stitches – i have 103 stitches the amount is odd, everything is correct tip for checking yourself: if your amount of stitches is even, it means you have lost a stitch or added an extra stitch you’ll have to sort this out so we have to divide 103 stitches in 2 the result is 51 stitch from one side here 51 stitch here which is 102 in total and one more left for us to skip here start the row with a decrease then make 49 DCs we have made 49 DC and one decrease this is our first part then we CH 3 making this first arch YO, skip one stitch and DC in next stitch this DC will be the first one of our next part we need to make 48 DC (=49 DC counting the first one) here are 49 DC of the second part all done we have 2 stitches left which we will decrease all the next rows are gonna be worked as follows we will always start with a decrease then we will DC until we reach the net stop when there are 2 stitches left,
the last DC goes into the 3rd st from the arch we will decrease those 2 and now off to DCs we have now reached the net with 2 stitches left you can have a look here, we have 2 more archs above the first one we’ll repeat the previous drill CH 3 and we will now join into the arch below join with a SC then CH 3 and we will mirror the other side – skip 2 stitches from the previous row and start DC YO, skip 1st and 2nd stitches, and DC in the 3rd stitch continue till the end of the row don’t forget to decrease in the end of the row start with a decrease each new row should bring you a sense of relief, as the amount of DCs is visibly reducing as we decrease in the beginning and the end of the row also we skip stitches from each side of the net and now we continue with DCs till we reach the net we reached the net, leaving 2 stitches and now we will make 3 arches CH3 sc in the arch CH3 sc in the arch CH3 YO, skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row don’t forget to decrease in the end of the row we have finished these 3 arches and here, as you can see, something weird is going on what we have here is such stripes coming out of the center and we will start making these stripes in the next row as you can see, the stripes go out of 4 DC and we have 2 arches on the sides the row is started as every previous row start with a decrease when we reach the net we’ll start with the thingy we’ve reached the net, left 2 stitches and let’s start working with the first arch CH3 then SC then we will partly make the second arch with CH3 i say partly, because we will not SC as before, but make 4 DC in the central arch one two three and four like this and then we just mirror the other side CH3 SC in the last arch CH3 then YO, skip 2 stitches, and DC in the third one, continue DC till the end of the row don’t forget to decrease in the end of the row now we will crochet the same thing, but between these stitches we’ll make an arch let’s crochet we start the row same as all the previous ones with a decrease continue with DC till the net we have reached the net, leaving 2 stitches and this is what we do now we make an arch CH3 SC in the first arch then we make the second arch which will be followed by DCs CH3 YO, DC into the DC of the previous row repeat for the second DC now we’ll make an arch as we know, it’s done by CH3 then we DC in the DCs of the previous row like so and then we mirror the other side CH3 please pay attention to where we will joint to make an arch not in here but the the following one here join with SC CH3 then we DC, skipping 2 stitches and we go on… …with DCs till the end of the row don’t forget to decrease in the end of the row the next row is started with a decrease continue with DCs until we reach the net we have reached the net, leaving 2 stitches and continue as in previous row CH3, SC in the first arch then CH3 2 DC in 2 DC of the previous row and now, where we made one arch, there’s gonna be 2 of them CH3 SC in the arch CH3 2 DC in 2 DC of the previous row CH3 SC in this arch don’t mess up here CH3 skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end of the row start the next row with a decrease continue with DCs until the net leave 2 stitches CH3 SC in the first arch CH3 2 DC above the 2 DC of the previous row there were 2 arches between these stitches in the previous row we need to make 3 arches this time CH3 SC in the first arch CH3 SC in the second arch CH3 2 DC above 2 DC of the previous row and so we made 3 arches then we continue in the same manner CH3 SC in this arch CH3 skip 2 stitches DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end of the row the next row is done in the same fashion, but between DCs we will make 4 arches we’ve reached the net CH3 SC in the first arch CH3 2 DC above the 2 DC of the previous row and as it was mentioned between these stitches we previously have 3 arches and we will make 4 making the first arch second one third one and the forth one will end in DCs see, now we have 4 arches instead of 3 continue as usual CH3, SC in the last arch CH3 skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end the next row starts same as the previous one but now we will have 5 arches instead of 4 stop at the net, leaving 2 stitches CH3 SC in the first arch CH3 2 DC above 2 DC of the previous row and instead of 4 arches… …let’s make 5 arches first one second one third one forth one and the fifth one will end in DCs CH3 SC in the last arch CH3 skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end of the row we are now here we have made 5 arches and then, as you can see, we will make anothe cluster of stripes same as here now we will start making this as follows we will make 3 arches then 4 DCs then 3 more arches and here and here we will crochet as per pattern
(don’t worry and follow me) start the row same as previous one… …with a decrease DC till the net we’ve reached the net, sipping 2 stitches CH3 SC in the first arch CH3 2 DC above the 2 DC of the previous row and now the interesting part we have 5 arches in the previous row we will now make 4 DC in the 3rd arch and before that we will make 3 arches first one second one and the third one will end in 4 DC here we start 4DC now we see 3 arches and 4DC and we do the same from the other side first arch second one third arch will end in 2 DC above 2 DC of the previous row here we go, 3 arches and we continue as per pattern SC in the last arch CH3 skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end of the row in the next row we will divide those 4 DC in 2 parts same as here we will make it happen with an arch in between those DCs start the row with a decrease then continue as per pattern till the net remember to skip 2 stitches make the first arch then second arch, that ends in DCs like so and now we need to make 3 arches please note that we are not increasing the amount of arches we are making the first arch… …followed by the second one and we finish the third arch not here but finish it with 2 DC into 2 DC of the previous row ~tiny trouble happened~ and as we discussed, between these DCs we are making an arch and we divided our DCs in 2 parts continue in the same manner first arch is joined not here but in the next arch first one done second one and the third one ends in DCs check your work! 3 arches here 3 arches here all’s correct an we go on as per pattern SC in the last arch CH3 skip 2 stitches, DC in the 3rd stitch, and continue till the end of the row decrease in the end of the row decrease DCs until the net we’ve reached the net as per pattern at first first arch second arch ends in DCs then 3 arches as per pattern first one second one the third one will end in 2 DCs and here we are making 2 arches instead of 1 first one and the second one will end in DCs like so see, here we have 2 of them continue as per pattern 3 arches please note, that i made SC not here, but skipped this place second arch and the third one will end in DCs you must check your work! if you made a mistake it’s easier to frog a small section, and not the whole row better safe than sorry we will now crochet 2 more arches and continue with DCs, decrease in the end of the row all the following rows are crocheted as per pattern increasing the amount of arches in the center and we will work like that until all DCs are decreased the next row is also crocheted as per pattern don’t forget to decrease at the sides before and after the net we always skip 2 DCs net is crocheted as per pattern in the center we will make 4 arches instead of 3 and that’s it the next row is worked just like the previous one but there’s gonna be 5 arches in the center instead of 4 we have finished this row as you can see we have 5 arches in the center in the next row is worked like the previous one, but instead of 5 arches we will make 6 now let’s see. in this row we have made 6 arches in the center in the next row there will be 7 and the rest is worked as in previous rows now we will make the final row of the top’s body and all we have left is the net, that we will decrease at the sides till the end now let’s see, we have only 2 stitches left here we will make one DC here like so the next one is skipped, we don’t count it then we continue as per pattern we have 2 arches first one second one ends in DCs then there are 3 arches as per pattern first one second one and the third one that ends in DCs here are 3 of them then we have the middle part here we have made 7 arches in the previous row and we’ll now make 8 arches then we have 3 arches as per pattern first one second one the third one that ends in DCs and we have 2 arches left so you see, we are skipping the first stitch and insert the hook into the last one and make a DC ch 2 when we have only the net left in the beginning of every row we must make one DC i.e. all the following rows will begin like that now, as per pattern we have 2 arches, that need to be repeated and those arches were created with CH 3 now in the beginning we will make these arches
with CH 2 gradually decreasing so, CH 2 then make the arch CH 2 again and this arch ends in 2 DCs so now we still have 2 arches, but they will be a bit smaller then we continue crocheting as per pattern making 3 CH arches, same as in previous rows so we make 3 arches as per pattern the third one ends in DCs then we add one more arch in the middle part in the previous row we made 8 arches, now we’ll make 9 next, as per pattern, we make 3 arches made of CH 3 and the last 2 arches, same as in the beginning, will be formed with CH 2 CH 2 first arch again CH 2 and we finish with 1 DC, same as at the beginning of the row now we have 2 arches made of CH 2 each then CH2, turn your work to continue with the next row now let’s see how the next row will be worked here we have 2 small arches made of CH 2 and now we’ll crochet one arch but before we do it, we make 1 DC in the beginning of the row so now we make one arch made of CH 2 after that we make 2 DC and like that we have made one arch instead of 2 continue working as per pattern – all the arches made of CH 3 so we made 2 arches, the third one ends in DCs and we add up one more arch to those in the middle part ~i’m counting to 10~ further as per pattern 3 arches first, second, third ends in DCs after that we stop and remember that we have to make one arch instead of 2 and finish the row with 1 DC so CH 2 and immediately make a DC… …in here we have finished the row with one arch and we finish with CH 2 the next row is started with CH 2(that we have already made) then 1 DC and here’s what we do next in the previous row we’ve crocheted 1 arch and in this row we will skip it we are not going to crochet it right now we are not going to chain but start immediately with 2 DC and this is how such decrease will look like in this row follow the pattern we are making 3 arches first and second, and the third one will end in DCs then we crochet arches in the middle part then as pr pattern – 3 arches first second and third one ends in DCs we have reached the end of the row in the previous row here we had an arch,
but we will skip it now as we had already made 2 DCs,
we need to make one more here and CH2 for the next row in the next row we will decrease all the 3 DC of the previous row we do not finish first DC then do the same with the second DC and the third DC and now we have 3 unfinished DCs on the hook plus one CH 4 in total and now we will crochet all those 4 loops together with one YO like that, this is our decrease then we continue as per pattern – we make 3 arches first second and the third one ends in DCs we crochet the net in the middle as in previous rows, adding one more arch then we crochet 3 arches first second and the third one ends in DCs remember – as we did in the beginning of the row we will have to decrease all the 3 DCS and here we do not finish the first DC second and the third one we have 4 loops on the hook 3 from unfinished DCs and 1 CH… …that is a part of the arch and now we YO and pull through all 4 loops CH 2 for the next row in the next for at the place where we decreased 3 DCs we make 1 DC then as per pattern we have 3 arches and we’ve made every arch with CH 3 and 1 SC we will now crochet 3 arches,
but they’ll be made of CH 2 + 1 SC so CH 2 finish the first arch with 1 SC second arch and the thris arch that ends in DCs so now we have 3 arches, but smaller ones made of 2 CH each then we continue as per pattern we have to make arches in the middle part they will be formed with CH 3 as in previous row after we have completed DCs we need to stop and check our work we have 3 arches here and we do the same as in the beginning – 3 arches made of CH 2 each first one second one and the third one that ends in 1 DC 1 DC that is made on top of the decrease made in the previous row like that and we finish the row with CH 2 for the next row the next row is started with 1 DC and then we’ll reduce the amount of arches there were 3 arches here, and we will make only 2 and these arches we are going to make will be formed with CH2 so CH2 skip the first arch and start working into the second one CH 2 and the next arch will end in DCs and here we have 2 arches instead of 3 then we work on the middle as per pattern
arches are formed with CH3 in the end of the row we do the same make 2 arches instead of 3 CH2 skip the first arch, SC in the second CH2 and end the row with 1 DC and now we have 2 arches in the end of the row and now we will make 1 arch instead of 2 start with 1 DC CH 2 ~ a bit of misplacing the sounds, lol ~ and immediately start DCs so instead of 2 arches we have 1 then we follow the pattern and make middle part arches formed with CH 3 don’t forget to make 1 arch instead of 2
in the end of the row after DCs CH2 and immediately make 1 DC in the end of the row like so and now we repeat the actions that we have already done several rows below make 1 DC in the beginning of the row skip this arch, i.e. we are decreasing it and continue crocheting DCs we will have 3 DC in sequence then we work on middle part arches formed with CH3 in the end of the row we repeat decrease of made in the beginning we have made 2 DCs then there should be arch, but we are reducing it continuing with DC in the beginning of the row here that’s what we’ll have the next row is started with decreasing 3 DCs that we have already made do not finish each of the 3 DCs so that we’ll have 4 loops on the hook that we will crochet all together after that goes the net in the middle part and we will reduce it in the beginning the first arch will be formed with CH2 and SC not in the first arch of the previous row,
but SC in the second arch of the previous row like so and then continue crocheting as in previous row CH3 SC in the arch of the previous row stop in the end of the row just before working on the last arch here we need to remember that the last arch is formed with CH2 and we do not crochet here but start working on the triple decrease YO do not finish first DC YO do not finish second DC YO again do not finish third DC so that we have 4 loops on the hook in the end. finish off those 4 loops by pulling yarn through all of them the next row is started with DC place this DC in the place where we made triple decrease and immediately after we bump into the net here we’ll decrease the first arch it will be formed with CH2 and SC not in the first arch of the previous row,
but in the second one and then continue same as per pattern – CH3 and SC in the following arch of the previous row stop in the end of the row before the last arch of the previous row CH2 skip this arch and continue with DC in the very end the next row will be very similar to the previous one start with DC the first arch will be reduced – formed with CH2 and SC not in the first arch of the previous row,
but in the second arch of the previous row continue crocheting arches formed with CH3 in the end of the row we stop just before the last arch of the previous row and crochet a reduced arch – formed with CH2 after that make a DC in the very end we will now crochet almost final row this will be the last row made in the pattern we are working for the net start with DC then make a reduced arch formed with CH2 SC no in the first arch of the previous row,
but in the second arch of the previous row continue with arches made of CH3 and SC here we have one arch left and we’ll make a reduced arch made of CH2 and finish the row with DC the very last row is done with DCs only no more CHs and SCs start with the first DC same as in previous rows then in every arch we’ll place 2 DC 2 DC in the first arch 2 DC in the second arch 2DC in the last and finish off same as in the beginning –
with one DC it was our last row and now we will crochet cords after you finished crocheting do not break the yarn we’ll use it for the first cord we have the first loop on the hook and we need 2 more to do so insert the hook here pull out second loop then insert the hook lower pull out third loop now we have 3 loops on the hook and we will use them for crocheting the cord i must say, at first it is very difficult because we will now imitate knitting… …and we will have to remove the loops from the hook… …and the loops will try to unravel 🙂 now please pay attention remove 2 last loops from the hook hold them with your finger one loop remains on the hook CH1 then release the loops held by the fingers leave one under the finger insert the hook in the loop that is loose and CH1 in this one loop release the last loop insert the hook into the last loop and CH1 you have 3 loops on the hook again and we will continue all the steps again release 2 loops very carefully and hold them with your finger CH1 insert the hook into the next loop held by your finger CH1 insert the hook into the third loop CH1 and here you can see how our work turns into this cord very nice and very neat the cord comes out neatly from our top and all looks pretty awesome actually after first 5 rows you’ll get the hold of crocheting and the work will speed up if somebody is experiencing GREAT difficulty working like this please take a knitting needle and try placing these two loops on it it will take more time, but you’ll be sure no loop is lost one more tip when you have worked some length of the cord, take the lower part between thumb and index finger and pull it down a bit to tighten your work and make the stitches even continue working until the cord reaches 36 cm you can see that my cord is now 36 cm and i’ll finish it off now please see how to finish your cord we have 3 loops on the hook YO, pull through all the loops like so CH1 break the yarn and pull the yarn pull tight and here is our cord now we will work with the other ones here on the left is our first cord and we will now make another one from the other ~ right~ side to do so turn the top like that here we will place 3 loops for the cord we’ll place one in the very corner another – a bit to the right and the third one will be somewhere here let’s start take your yarn i will not make any additional loops insert the hook here YO, pull out a loop hold the end of the thread then pull out another loop place the third loop in the very corner right here in the end you’ll have 3 loops on the hook continue working as with previous cord start crocheting lower cords on the right side turn the top like so take the yarn and we will now see how to place the loops one will be in the very corner and other 2 – a bit to the left start with the corner one place the second one here and somewhere here the third one we need to crochet the last cord to do so turn the top like so and let’s see how to place the loops place the first one here second one and the third one right here like so to hide the tails you will need a small size hook (2mm) split the thread in two parts like so make a knot and then hide these two threads in the edges of the top fasten with a slip stitch cut excess yarn repeat with the other tails i can now congratulate you – you have finished the top it’s all crumpled and messy, which is OK, as you need to wash it first 🙂 wet-block it pin it along the edges on the blocking mat or towel and after it dries it will have the form that you shaped it to be and everything will be just fine also i wanted to show that there’s a little yarn that is left from the skein so it’s not exactly 3$ 😉 i’ll be happy if you share your tops using the tag that you see on the screen please share the WIPs as well as finished items 🙂 if you face some difficulties, or have questions, please comment and i was glad to spend some time with you!
bye-bye! i forget to breathe in O.O ~you can hear my neighbours drilling the walls~

    !) Cotton True Sport Fibranatura 50 г 182 м
    или
    2) Alize Diva 100 г 150 м
