Have you tried on a 30 oz? Video?
How does the lip of the cup look. Can liquid get down to the fabric at the lip?
That turner! Love it. Do you have a picture of the whole tumbler turner rig?
Use paper, wrap it around the cup and use that as a template. Helos skip the first step that seems to have taken her forever.
Where do you buy the clear stuff that makes it shine what store?
What did you do with the top of the cup? Can you just leave it like that or did you have to smooth it out?
So I either messed up or I need lots of help! I made a beautiful Beauty & the Beast tumbler with material and when I went to wash it by hand it has this milky white residue all around the top to about 2 inches down. I am heart broken. What did I do wrong?
I've tried making these a hundred times & I keep getting the wet looking spots in it. Any advice on how to not get those in the fabric?
I doubt you’ll see this because this video is so old, but a few years back, I had 2 separate foot surgeries and I hated how plain my casts were. So I got coordinating fabric square bundles and mod podged them to my cast to make them look more aesthetically pleasing. They always turned out great but, it usually took me about 3-4 hours from start to finish because it was really difficult to bend my leg in a way where I could cover the back of the cast.
I happened to notice your turner, how did you make it with the additional endings for multiple cups? love the way it turned out
Was it sealed good around the top lip
What a helpful video! You described everything you were doing and didn't have any music so you could be heard when you were speaking. I do have a question: what size fabric did you start with?
I’m laughing at myself right now. I kept pausing the video because I heard that beeping noise. I finally figured out it was in the video.
I love that cup !What a perfect fabric for this project. After seeing how much work that's involved I would rather pay you for it.This is a beautiful cup.I bought one similarly decorated mug with an angel and my name on it. ILOVE IT!
Beautiful job. Thank you for sharing. I’m a tumbler newbie and can’t wait to try this method.
It is a very good video, and the cup looks great, I know "Art Resin" is FDA approved for food or drink, but are all resin ok for food snd drinks, since your lips will be on the resin, just wondering
take to long
If you did this as apeek a boo at what point would you spray paint the cup
oh my goodness thank b you for the great tutorial. I'm very new to this craft. So many things to learn. Now I have another addiction. LOL
Do you use a greater amount of epoxy with material cup vs paint or glitter? Yours is the first material video I’ve watched
Thanks for sharing your gift and talented.
Do you do a layer of epoxy then vinyl decal and then another layer? Or can you add the vinyl decal before any epoxy goes on it? Thanks!
Looks great! One question, I did not see how you done the top of the cup with the fabric. Do you just use your finger and trace around it?
Thank you so much! Just began to make fabric tumblers! I love it! I sew. I have so much fabric! My tumblers were perfect the first time!
Where do you get the spinning item?
Why not disassemble one after is cut and create a template – would be so much easier
Can’t u just spray it with sealant before the epoxy?
I tried to do this and i waited over 72 hours before using the cup, when i rinsed the cup water seem to be getting to the fabric. Can somebody please tell me what i did wrong??
that cup is gorgeous! i love it! thank you for sharing!
Could you do the same method with a coffee mug?
Was curious if maybe instead of using mod podge on the last coat before epoxy could you use a clear coat sealing spray ? I suck with getting a nice even coat of mod podge !
Ps: omg a squirt top on your epoxy bottle !?!? Did that come with it ? Or did you buy that separate? What a great idea!
What epoxy's are you using, Are you using 2 different types. You mentioned part A and B ? Where do you get them Thanks
When it comes to fabric can you use CL(cotton lyric) or would it be best to use a woven cotton?
I just wish you would correct the title to instead say: "DIY Fabric – Covered Tumbler Tutorial"
Would this work the same way for a wine glass tumbler
