Climate change is one of the critical issues facing the world. 30% of greenhouse gas emissions come from the agriculture food value chain. We have to address that 30%. It has to be farmers, working together with industry, food companies, retailers, government regulators, and NGOs, coming together with different ideas on how do we solve this. There are so many important elements to this value chain, it’s complicated, it’s different in different parts of the world, but it all has to work as a system, to deliver the food that’s needed all over the world, to a growing population. But, at the same time, do it in a way that not only protects our planet, but makes the planet better.
