Fluffy Wheat Poori & Chana masala recipe with Subtitles| உப்பலான கோதுமை பூரியும் சென்னா மசாலா ரெசிபி


Welcome to Pot to Plates Kitchen, Today i am going to show how to make fluffy wheat poori & tasty channa masla. I have provided the ingredients required in the description box, Please take look before start preparing the recipe. Take 300 grams wheat flour, add 2 tsp rava (sooji) , add 1/2 tsp Ajwain ( Oregano). Adding rava will keep the pooris fluffy even after several hours. I always add ajwain while making poori or chapatis but if you don’t like ignore it as its optional only. Add salt & mix it well, add little bit of water and knead the dough. No need to add oil while kneading. Adding oil or more water while kneading will lead oily Pooris as it will absorb more oil while frying. Knead the dough into chapati making consistency and slightly apply oil over the dough and leave it for 15 mins. Applying oil will avoid the dough getting dry. In the meantime, we can start preparing the chana masala. Take 1 cup chick peas and soak it in water for 8 hours. Boil it in the pressure cooker well. If you can easily squash using your hands, that the right consistency. In a heated Pan, add 3 tbsp oil ,1 bay leaf, 1 cinnamon stick, 3 cardamom, 4 cloves, 1 start anise, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp fennel seeds and saute well. Take 2 onions & grind them in blender to make a Puree. Make sure onion & masala raw smell disappears well by sauteing. It takes more time for raw smell to disappear but if you don’t saute well ,it will spoil the taste. Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute well, again ginger garlic raw smell has to disappear completely. Once the raw smell disappears completely, add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and mix will till raw smell disappears. Take 2 medium size tomatoes, chop them into small pieces and add. Saute till the tomatoes cook well. Once the tomato is cooked well, add already cooked chick peas to this and mix it well. Keep 2 tbsp cooked chick peas separately before adding to this which will be used later. After mixing it well, add required water & mix it well, close the lid and boil it for 10 minutes. Smash the saved 2 tbsp chick peas in a blender & make a paste. After boiling tye gravy for 10 mins, open the lid and mix the chick peas paste & mix it well. Doing this will make the gravy thick & improves taste. Again close the lid and boil it only for 2 mins,After 2 mins add chopped coriander leaves and mix it well. Delicious chana masala gravy is ready. Now we will make the Pooris, take the dough and roll them into small round pieces and make chapati shapes. In a hot oil put the shaped dough and fry it to make the pooris, Oil should be hot enough while putting the pooris, then only it will rise fluffy. Turn them & fry both sides nicely.
