    "It’s financially lucrative to enforce the war on drugs, and what makes it lucrative? Think of it this
    way. If federal government got out of enforcing their drug laws, over
    10,000 federal employees would lose their job and DOJ would lose
    billions in funding. Also police departments across the country would
    lose billions in funding to enforce drug laws. This mindset has been a
    snowball effect ever since alcohol prohibition was repealed. These
    people dedicate their lives for a career and have families to feed, you
    better believe they want to keep their job and pensions."
